The Shoemaker Protocol
Abstract
The Shoemaker Protocol is an evidence-based approach to biotoxin illness. Every step is peer-reviewed, and it is a structured, step-by-step method that relies on well-designed studies. The Shoemaker Protocol identifies those sickened from biotoxin illness and uses rigorously tested interventions to help them recover. The implications for the prevention and treatment of chronic inflammatory response syndrome are profound for individuals and public health. If the lessons learned from the Shoemaker Protocol were put into practice universally, we could prevent illness and suffering for many. Vasoactive intestinal polypeptide (VIP) is crucial to normalize biomarkers and transcriptomics, resolve symptoms, restore grey matter and improve quality of life. Ramping up VIP provides improvement of symptoms in people with multiple chemical sensitivity.
