An Evaluation of Alternate Means to Diagnose Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome and Determine Prevalence

Abstract
This study evaluated 1,061 patients across age groups using existing case definitions plus cluster analysis and lab test combinations for CIRS diagnosis. The findings showed diagnostic approaches yielding error rates from 1.24e-3 to 1.10e-6, with a minimum pediatric prevalence of 7.01% identified through partnership with a pediatric practice.
